Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The Minister of Justice and Constitutional Affairs of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E. Hassan Sheikh Ali, today welcomed the Italian Ambassador to Somalia, H.E. Pier Mario Daccò Coppi, and his delegation at his office in Mogadishu.
The meeting focused on enhancing bilateral cooperation in areas such as justice reform, judicial capacity building, and the completion of Somalia’s constitutional process. Minister Sheikh Ali expressed gratitude to the Government of Italy for its continued support to Somalia’s justice sector, while the delegation commended Somalia’s efforts to improve the rule of law and pledged sustained assistance.
The Ministry of Justice reaffirmed its commitment to advancing the justice system and finalizing the constitution in close collaboration with national stakeholders and international partners.
