Mogadishu, (SONNA) — The Minister of Internal Security of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E Abdullahi Sheikh Ismail (Fartaag), chaired a high-level meeting focused on accelerating the operations of the Somali Immigration and Naturalization Agency.
The Director General of the agency, Mr. Mustaf Sheikh Ali Dhuxulow, along with regional directors representing federal member states, provided the Minister with a comprehensive briefing on the agency’s key services and ongoing efforts to serve the Somali public.
Discussions centered on strengthening immigration and citizenship services across the country, aligning federal and regional operations, and addressing existing challenges while exploring opportunities for development. The forum also emphasized the need to improve service quality for Somali citizens nationwide.
Minister Fartaag urged officials to enhance coordination and mutual understanding between federal and regional levels to ensure efficient public service delivery and contribute to national security efforts.
