Mogadishu, (SONNA) — The Minister of Endowments and Islamic Affairs of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E. Mukhtar Robow Ali, on Monday inspected the Makkah hotels where Somali pilgrims are being relocated as part of this year’s Hajj arrangements.
During the visit, the minister met with several Somali pilgrims and staff overseeing the relocation process, urging them to ensure that the pilgrims are transferred responsibly and with proper care.
A total of 11,615 Somali pilgrims are among the millions of Muslims participating in the 1447/2026 Hajj pilgrimage this year.
The Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs of the Federal Government of Somalia said it remains committed to ensuring that Somali pilgrims perform their Hajj rituals and religious obligations smoothly and successfully.
