Mogadishu (SONNA) — The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E. Hassan Mohamed Ali Nadaara, on Sunday received the newly appointed United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) Representative to Somalia, Judicaël Elidje, for discussions on enhancing cooperation in support of Somalia’s national development priorities.
The meeting focused on key sectors including healthcare, women and youth empowerment, education, and community development.
Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to advancing reproductive health services, strengthening state institutions, supporting peacebuilding efforts, and promoting inclusive development across Somalia.
