The Somali National Army (SNA) has stepped up humanitarian support efforts by delivering urgently needed food assistance to drought-affected communities in areas under Raaga Celle district in the Middle Shabelle region.
The relief operation was carried out by the 195th Company of the 19th Gor Gor Commando Battalion, demonstrating the army’s continued role not only in safeguarding national security but also in responding to humanitarian needs across the country.
Residents in the affected areas have faced severe shortages of food and water due to recurring climate challenges, making such interventions critical for their survival.
