Mogadishu, SONNA — Governor of Banadir Regional Administration and Mayor of Mogadishu, Dr. Hassan Mohamed Hussein (Muungaab), led a ceremony on Saturday to hand over medical equipment to 16 health centers across the districts of Banadir Region, aimed at improving healthcare services for residents.
Speaking at the event, Dr. Muungaab highlighted the importance of the new medical equipment in enhancing the quality of health services, particularly for mothers, children, and other vulnerable groups. He emphasized that the Banadir Regional Administration continues to prioritize public health and is committed to strengthening support for health facilities across the region.
The Mayor called on district administrations and heads of the health centers to ensure the equipment is used efficiently and responsibly, so that it delivers tangible benefits to the communities in all 16 districts where the resources have been allocated.
This initiative is part of ongoing efforts by the Banadir Regional Administration to bolster healthcare services and improve access to essential medical care for residents of Mogadishu and surrounding areas.
