Harardhere, (SONNA) — The National Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission of the Federal Republic of Somalia conducted the registration of voters in Warane area in Harardhere district in Galmudug State.
The campaign is part of ongoing efforts to implement a nationwide registration system aimed at enabling one-person-one-vote elections.
According to the Commission, the initiative seeks to provide residents of Warane and the surrounding areas with the opportunity to register themselves and take part in the upcoming national elections.
The community of Warane welcomed the introduction of the registration service, describing it as an important step toward participating in the country’s democratic process and strengthening the system of governance.
