Mogadishu (SONNA) – The Somali community in Minnesota, United States, warmly welcomed the Deputy Minister of Information, Culture, and Tourism, H.E Abdirahman Yusuf Al-Adala, and his delegation currently on a working visit to the U.S.
The reception highlighted the diaspora’s support for Somalia’s reconstruction and state-building, while also recognizing the achievements of Somalis in America in education, business, and community development.
Deputy Minister Al-Adala thanked the community for their warm welcome and briefed them on the country’s progress, particularly in economic reforms, constitutional review, and preparations for upcoming elections. He further encouraged the diaspora to strengthen their contributions to national development, noting the vital role they play in advancing Somalia’s economy and politics.
