Mogadishu, Somalia – The Governor of the Banaadir Region and Mayor of Mogadishu, Hassan Mohamed Hussein (Muungaab), and other senior officials participated in a community awareness meeting in the Kaxda district. The event provided a platform for the regional administration to brief local leaders and residents on its ongoing development initiatives.
Speaking to district officials, elders, and civil society members, Governor Muungaab detailed the Banaadir regional administration’s accomplishments and its dedicated efforts to implement development projects across the capital. He highlighted plans to improve essential community infrastructure and enhance the quality of life for residents.
In a specific commitment to the Kaxda district, Governor Muungaab pledged that the area would receive funding for infrastructure projects. This investment will focus on critical areas such as road improvements and the construction of care centers, which are designed to support the needs of the community.
The Commissioner of the Kahda District, Sheikh Abdurisaq Mohamed Sheik, also addressed the meeting. He praised the Banaadir regional administration’s work and expressed gratitude for its development plan, which targets several districts in the capital, including Kaxda. The meeting concluded with a shared commitment between the regional and district leadership to collaborate on these vital projects for the benefit of the community.
