Addis Ababa, (SONNA) – On behalf of the President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E Dr. Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, Minister of Minister of Environment and Climate Change, H.E. Lt. Gen. Bashir Mohamed Jama addressed the 2nd Africa – CARICOM Summit (ACS2), highlighting Africa and the Caribbean as “two shores, one people, one destiny.”
The Minister underlined Somalia’s commitment to stronger Africa – CARICOM ties on peace, climate justice and global financial reforms. He noted the Caribbean as Africa’s “Sixth Region” & called for turning solidarity into real action for people, youth & women.
