Mogadishu (SONNA) — The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E. Abdisalam Abdi Ali, held a telephone conversation with Jordan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Ayman Safadi, focusing on regional developments and strengthening bilateral ties.
The two officials exchanged views on the evolving situation in the region and ongoing efforts to reinforce stability, while reviewing cooperation between Somalia and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. They highlighted the importance of expanding collaboration in key areas, including counterterrorism, economic growth, and investment.
Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to enhancing Somalia–Jordan relations, stressing the need for continued dialogue and closer coordination to advance practical cooperation in priority sectors and address shared challenges affecting regional stability and economic development.
