Dhusamareb, (SONNA) – The President of Galmudug State of the Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E. Ahmed Abdi Kariye (Qoorqoor), today officially launched the “One Person, One Vote” voter registration campaign in the regional capital, Dhusamareb.
President Kariye became the first citizen to register, setting an example for the rest of the community. He urged the residents of Dhusamareb and all citizens across Galmudug to come out in large numbers and register, emphasizing the importance of choosing leaders who are accountable for the development of their regions.
The launch marks a critical step in strengthening democratic governance in Galmudug through inclusive and transparent electoral processes.
