Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The Director of the National Intelligence and Security Agency (NISA), Abdullahi Mohamed Ali (Sanbaloolshe), and the Commander of the Somali National Army’s Ground Forces, Major General Sahal Abdullahi Omar, held a high-level meeting with clan elders in the town of Tardo.
The specially organized meeting focused on accelerating the ongoing military campaign against the Khawarij insurgents and enhancing collaboration between the government and local communities.
Both officials praised the traditional leaders for their vital role in supporting the national armed forces, particularly those on the frontlines. They also urged continued community mobilization and stronger cooperation to counter the threat posed by extremist groups.
