Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The Governor of Banadir Region and Mayor of Mogadishu, H.E. Mohamed Ahmed Amir, conducted an inspection visit today to the Dharkeynley District headquarters, where public voter registration officially began as part of Somalia’s one-person, one-vote electoral process.
During the visit, the Mayor met with various segments of the community, including traditional leaders, who were actively participating in the registration process and collecting their voter ID cards.
Mayor Amir urged all eligible citizens to visit designated registration centers to obtain their voter cards, emphasizing the importance of exercising their democratic right to vote and be elected.
