Mogadishu, (SONNA) – Commander of the Somali National Army, Brigadier General Ibrahim Mohamed Mahmoud, on Saturday visited units of the Somali National Army undergoing military training at the Hanan Buure Training School in Cabudwaaq district.
The Army Chief was accompanied during the visit by the Commander of the 21st Division of the Somali National Army, Colonel Mohamed Dhagawayne, along with other senior military officers.
The visit aimed to assess the condition of the troops, evaluate the quality of the training being provided, and encourage the soldiers to intensify their national duties and responsibilities.
Brigadier General Ibrahim Mohamed Mahmoud addressed the troops undergoing training and urged them to strengthen discipline, enhance their combat readiness and continue defending the country in order to contribute to security operations and the liberation of areas where Al-Shabaab militants remain active.
