Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The Minister of Interior, Federal Affairs and Reconciliation of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E Ali Yusuf Ali Hosh hosted an Iftar reception that brought together key partners to mark the holy month of Ramadan.
The gathering fostered meaningful discussions on Somalia’s liberation, stabilization and reconciliation efforts.
Representatives from Djibouti, the EU, Italy, China, UK, Sweden, Norway, Finland, and the United Nations, along with Somalia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, attended the Iftar reception hosted by the Minister of Interior.
“Somalia is committed to peace, progress, and democracy. Through unity and resilience, we will overcome challenges, defeat extremism, and build a future where every citizen’s voice is heard,” Minister Ali Hosh said.
“Somalia’s reconciliation, stabilization, and democratization efforts are the foundation of our national progress and the Ministry of Interior is doing a commendable job in delivering that,” Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, H.E Ahmed Moallim Fiqi said.
During a special Iftar reception hosted by the Ministry of Interior, Federal Affairs, and Reconciliation, Somalia’s international partners reiterated their commitment to supporting the country’s stabilization, reconciliation, and governance efforts.
