Dinsor, SONNA — The Interim Leader of the South West State of Somalia, Jibriil Abdirashid Haji, accompanied by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Federal Government of Somalia, Abdisalan Abdi Ali Dhaay, and the Chairman of the National Disaster Management Authority, Mahmoud Moallim, arrived on a working visit to Diinsoor district in the Bay region.
The visit aimed to assess the overall situation in the district, particularly issues related to security, humanitarian conditions, and ongoing development projects.
During the trip, the officials held meetings with the district administration, security agencies, and representatives from different sectors of the community. They received briefings on the current conditions in the district, including urgent humanitarian and development priorities.
The delegation also discussed measures aimed at strengthening stability, improving service delivery, and accelerating development efforts in Diinsoor and surrounding areas.
The visit forms part of broader efforts by the South West State administration and the Federal Government of Somalia to closely monitor conditions in regional districts, reinforce security, expand social services, and support ongoing development initiatives across the region.
