Deputy Prime Minister Inspects Key Government Ministries and Agencies

Mogadishu (SONNA) – In a commitment to ensuring national progress through diligent oversight, the Deputy Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia, Mr. Saleh Ahmed Jama, conducted an inspection tour of several pivotal ministries and agencies.

Mr. Jama visited the Ministries of Health, Energy and Water, and the National Population Registration Authority (NIRA) to observe their essential work and assess how their current plans and initiatives align with the broader objectives of the National Transformation Plan (NTP). This plan aims to foster sustainable development and uplift the Somali people.

During his visits, the Deputy Prime Minister commended the dedication and efforts of all the agencies. “The work being done here is vital for the progress of our nation,” he stated. “Aligning these efforts with the National Transformation Plan is crucial for achieving our sustainable development goals.”

He emphasized the importance of continued dedication and collaboration among these entities to meet the national goals and improve the overall well-being of the Somali population. Mr. Jama’s inspection tour underscores the government’s commitment to transparency, accountability, and the effective implementation of strategic initiatives that benefit the entire nation.

The Deputy Prime Minister’s proactive approach highlights the government’s unwavering commitment to driving forward the National Transformation Plan and fostering a sustainable future for Somalia.
