Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The Minister of Environment and Climate Change of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E Khadija Mohamed Al-Mkhzoumi attended the Green Climate Fund’s (GCF) Board meeting, where $100 million was approved fo finane Climate Resilient Agriculture in Somalia.
“History was made today with the approval of our first single country project—one of the fastest ever approved by the GCF Board,” Minister Khadija said in her X platform.
The Minister also sent special thanks to the GCF Board and Mafalda Duarte (Executive Director of the GCF) for fast-tracking this critical initiative.
