Jowhar, (SONNA) — The President of Hirshabelle State of Somalia, H.E. Ali Gudlawe Hussein, today officially opened the Somalia Humanitarian Forum, held this year in Jowhar, the capital of Hirshabelle State.
The forum was attended by the Commissioner of the Somali Disaster Management Agency (SoDMA), Mr. Mohamud Moalim Abdulle, the Hirshabelle Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Mrs. Aasha Khalif, ministers of humanitarian affairs from the Federal Member States, representatives from the Banadir Regional Administration, the United Nations, humanitarian organizations, civil society, local leaders, and international agencies.
Organized by the Somali Disaster Management Agency (SoDMA), the forum serves as a key platform bringing together government institutions, federal member states, local and international organizations to discuss ways to strengthen humanitarian responses and enhance disaster preparedness across the country.
