Five people have been killed and more than 30 injured in an Israeli attack on central Gaza City, according to Gaza Civil Defence.
Israeli settlers have carried out multiple attacks across the occupied West Bank, killing one and wounding several Palestinians, burning cars and homes and shooting at Red Crescent ambulances.
Tensions remain high in Israel with the army on high alert for an expected attack from Iran that would risk escalating the war on Gaza into a regional conflict.
At least 33,634 Palestinians have been killed and 76,214 injured in Israeli attacks on Gaza since October 7. The death toll in Israel from Hamas’s October 7 attacks stands at 1,139, with dozens of people still held captive.
