Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E. Hamza Abdi Barre undertook a working visit to the Ministry of Planning, Investment and Economic Development, inaugurating a brand-new conference hall with state-of-the-art facilities and laying the foundation stone for the buildings of the Investment Promotion Agency and the Institute of Statistics, Planning, & Economic Development.
A noteworthy highlight was naming the Somalia National Bureau of Statistics building in honour of Mr Noor Wehliye, who dedicated over 50 years of service to the Ministry, particularly in Statistics.
The PM commended the Ministry’s efforts as a model institution setting a standard for other gov’t bodies.
