The Somali National Disaster Management Authority (SoDMA) has delivered a shipment of food aid to the Bondhere Orphan Girls’ Care Center in Mogadishu on Thursday.
The center provides care and education to hundreds of Somali girls who are orphans or from poor families. The senior management of the center expressed their gratitude to SoDMA for their assistance, saying that it came at a time of great need.
SoDMA has been delivering food and other humanitarian aid to various parts of Somalia that have been affected by drought, floods, conflict and other disasters. It has also been working with local and international partners to improve the resilience and capacity of the Somali people to cope with disasters.
