Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E Hamza Abdi Barre who was participating in the opening ceremony of the national exams’ announcement said that the second phase of the fight against the Al-Shabaab terrorists will soon begin and the preparations are in place.

The Prime Minister said that the second phase will be completed in a shorter period of time because the government was in preparation for a while.

“At least ten thousand soldiers have been prepared, equipped, and ready to go to war,” PM Barre said.

“The Khawarij who remained in the Galmudug and Hirshabelle regions will be eliminated so that the second phase can start in the Southwest and Jubbaland”, he added.

Prime Minister Hamza called on all the Somali people to side with the Government and not be in a neutral state because the militants will be eradicated from the whole country.

The Prime Minister asked every single Somali person to take part in the war with their strength, wealth, or tongues to liberate the country and restore the safety of our nation.

The National Security Council meeting yesterday, which was chaired by the President focused on the completion of the first phase and the preparations for the second phase.
