Sharma El-Sheikh, Egypt, SONNA – A delegation from the National Telecommunications Agency (NCA), led by General Manager Mustafa Yasin Sheikh, is currently attending the International Forum of Telecommunications Organizations (GSR-23).
The forum, organized by the World Telecommunication Union, brings together leaders from global telecommunication organizations to exchange experiences and discuss the latest developments in telecommunications and technology regulation.
During a seminar for global telecommunication leaders on the first day of the conference, Mustafa discussed national strategies and ways to enhance cooperation between different sectors working in digital services.
He emphasized the importance of policies and regulations that promote innovation, market competition, and consumer protection.
also highlighted the significance of government-business partnerships (PPPs) and coordination between government agencies. “Cooperation between government and businesses enables the sharing of experience and knowledge, facilitating the implementation of digital services that benefit society,” said Mustafa. “An integrated approach between various government agencies is necessary to ensure policy and regulatory consistency and efficient implementation.”
Throughout the conference, Mustafa will hold meetings with officials from participating delegations.
