Mogadishu, SONNA)-: Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism Daud Aweis Jama, met with Special Envoy for the United Nations Assistance Mission in Somalia (UNSOM) Anita Kiki Gbheho to discuss the government’s progress in security, anti-terrorism operations, governance, and development.
Minister Daud Aweis also provided details to the UN envoy about the recent resolution of the Council of Ministers regarding the management of the country’s public finances and the fight against corruption.
Gbheho praised the government’s efforts and reaffirmed the UN’s commitment to supporting Somalia.
