Mogadishu(SONNA)-President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E. Mohamed Abdullahi Mohamed ‘Farmaajo’ on Thursday spoke on the phone with H.E. Uhuru Kenyatta, President of the Republic of Kenya and discussed a range of bilateral issues, underlining the significance of their joint cooperation in strengthening security along the borders and across the region, SONNA reported.
Recognizing the interconnectedness and shared interest of security between the two nations, The two leaders stressed the need to unite in countering insecurity and guard against all factors that could destabilize their joint efforts.
Finally, both presidents exchanged views on strengthening the bilateral relations between the two nations and the citizens; and as a result, agreed to the formation of a working committee involving Somalia and Kenya to further the vision of the two leaders in enhancing relations without delays.
