Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The State Minister of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E Ali Mohamed Omar (Ali Bal’ad) together with the Director General of the Presidency, Mr. Abdihakim Mohamed Yusuf paid a courtesy visit to the National Identification and Registration Agency (NIRA), and listened to a briefing from the Director of the agency, Mr. Abdiweli Ali Abdulle (Tima’adde) and other staff.
The officials visited the site of the national ID card printing machines, the Department of Technology and Systems, and the NIRA Data Storage Center to inspect the critical operations ensuring the provision of modern and efficient services. The visit focused on improving data storage systems and enhancing identity services to meet the needs of the public.
