Xudur, (SONNA) – The Speaker of the Federal Parliament of Somalia, H.E. Sheikh Adan Mohamed Nur (Madobe), officially launched the voter registration campaign in Xudur, the capital of Bakool region, by registering himself as a voter. He was accompanied by members of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), who are overseeing the rollout.
The launch underscores the federal government’s commitment to advancing inclusive, one-person, one-vote elections across Somalia. INEC reaffirmed its dedication to ensuring that all eligible citizens can exercise their constitutional right to vote and take part in shaping the country’s democratic future.
