Mogadishu, SONNA – The Speaker of the House of the People of the Federal Republic of Somalia, HE Sheikh Aden Mohamed Nur (Madoobe), along with a high-level delegation, departed from Mogadishu today for Algiers, the capital of Algeria.
The delegation is set to participate in the upcoming Conference of Speakers of Arab Parliaments, which will convene in Algiers in the coming days. The conference is expected to address critical issues affecting Arab nations, with a particular focus on the ongoing situation of the Palestinian people this year.
The meeting will bring together parliamentary leaders from across the Arab world to discuss regional challenges, cooperation, and legislative strategies to support shared interests. Speaker Madoobe’s attendance underscores Somalia’s active engagement in regional diplomacy and solidarity with Arab nations.
