Algiers, SONNA – The newly appointed Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Somalia to Algeria, H.E. Yusuf Ahmed Hassan (Yusuf Jeego), presented a copy of his credentials to the Algerian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Ahmed Attaf, during a formal ceremony held today at the headquarters of the Algerian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Ambassador Yusuf Jeego was warmly welcomed by the Algerian Foreign Minister, marking the beginning of his diplomatic mission in Algeria. The meeting underscored the commitment of both nations to strengthen bilateral relations and enhance cooperation in various fields.
During the ceremony, Ambassador Jeego conveyed greetings from the Somali government and expressed his eagerness to work closely with Algerian authorities to foster deeper ties between the two countries. Foreign Minister Attaf, in turn, reaffirmed Algeria’s support for Somalia’s sovereignty and development efforts.
