Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The Director General of the Somali Immigration and Citizenship Authority, Mustafe Sheekh Cali Duhulow, held a key meeting with the United States Ambassador to Somalia, Richard Hiley, and the Head of Political and Economic Affairs, Matthew Younger.
Discussions focused on cooperation in border security management, recognition of the Somali passport, implementation of the new US-supported PISCES system, and integrating passport service delivery between the Immigration Authority (HSJ) and the National Identification and Registration Authority (NIRA). The talks also covered capacity-building programs aimed at strengthening the skills and expertise of Immigration Authority personnel.
