Somali Prime Minister appoints 8 member committee to oversee National Audit process

Mogadishu, (SONNA) - The Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E Hamza Abdi Barre has appointed a committee to oversee the census, assets, and regulations of the National Audit process, on Saturday. The committee appointed by the Prime Minister, consisting of 8 members including: -

1. Abshir Omar Jama (Huruse); Minister of Foreign Affairs
2. Dr. Elmi Mohamud Nur; Minister of Finance
3. Jibriil Abdirashid Haji Abdi; Minister of Commerce
4. Ismail Abdirahman Sh. Bashir; Minister of Public Works
5. Yusuf Hussein Jim'ale (Madale); Governor and Mayor of Banadir
6. Dr. Osman Elmi Guuled; National Attorney
7. Abshir Mohamed Ahmed (Bukhari); State Minister of the Presidency
8. Hirsi Jama Gaani; State Minister of the OPM

The committees have been assigned to conduct a census, return national assets, assess the national assets, provide advice on the national assets, and submit results to the Prime Minister.
