Kismayo, (SONNA) – The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E Hassan Sheikh Mohamud and a delegation he led have on Wednesday evening landed in Kismayo city, the capital of Jubbaland State.
The President and his delegation were warmly welcomed by the President of the State of Jubbaland, H.E Ahmed Mohamed Islam (Ahmed Madobe), officials from the administration and hundreds of people from that city.
President Mohamud was accompanied by the Minister of Defense, H.E Abdikadir Mohamed Nur, the Commander of the Somali National Army (SNA) and other delegation, and his visit to Jubbaland is to inspect the and accelerate the second phase of the war against the Al-Shabaab terrorist.
