Mogadishu, (SONNA): The Second Deputy Speaker of the Somali Federal Parliament’s House of the People, Hon. Abdullahi Omar Abshirow, paid a visit to the Maqasid Research and Studies Center. He was received by the Center’s Chairman, MP Mohamed Sheikh Ahmed (Mohamed Xaaji), along with the institution’s staff.
During the visit, the Deputy Speaker and the Center’s leadership discussed strengthening collaboration, the vital role of research in promoting good governance, and ways to enhance the educational programs the Center delivers to the public.
The Deputy Speaker toured the various departments of the Center, commending the significant work being carried out. He also received a set of books and recent publications from the Center’s officials.
