Mogadishu, SONNA – The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, His Excellency Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, today attended and prayed the funeral prayer for the late Ugaas Abdullahi Ugaas Farah.
Following the funeral prayer, President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud extended his heartfelt condolences to the family, relatives, and the entire Somali nation on the passing of the traditional leader. “May Allah have mercy on Ugaas Abdullahi Ugaas Farah,” the President said, “I pray to Allah to grant him paradise, and grant patience and faith to all the family and relatives of the deceased.”
The funeral prayer was attended by several other prominent figures, including the President of Galmudug State, His Excellency Ahmed Abdi Kariye, and the President of Hirshabelle State, His Excellency Ali Abdullahi Hussein. Other officials from both the executive and legislative branches of the government were also present to pay their last respects.
