National Committee for Independence and Unity Days Reviews Somali Police Readiness for the Celebrations

Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The National Committee for the Organization of Somalia’s Independence and Unity Days, led by its Chairperson and the Minister of Interior, Federal Affairs and Reconciliation, H.E. Ali Yusuf Ali (Ali Hosh), conducted an inspection of the Somali Police Force as part of ongoing preparations for the national Independence Days celebrations.

Members of the National Committee commended the Somali Police Force for its level of preparedness and praised its vital role in safeguarding security, particularly at venues designated to host the Independence Days commemorative events.

The committee emphasized the importance of maintaining a secure environment to ensure the successful and peaceful celebration of one of Somalia’s most significant national occasions.
