New York, (SONNA) — The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E Hassan Sheikh Mohamud met with Ms. Allison Hooker, Head of Political Affairs at the U.S. Department of State, Mr. Massad Boulos, Advisor on African Affairs to President Donald Trump, and Mr. Vincent Spera, Deputy Assistant Secretary for African Affairs, on the sidelines of 80th UNGA.
They discussed further enhancing Somalia–U.S. relations in areas of security and counterterrorism, as well as joint efforts to advance peace and stability in the region.
