Mogadishu (SONNA)-The president of the federal republic of Somalia H.E Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo held a meeting today with the Chinese ambassador to Somalia Mr. Qin Jian at his office Sonna reports.
The two sides stressed the importance of strengthening the historical relationship between the two countries and the two people of Somalia and China.
The two sides emphasized the shared vision of respecting each other sovereignty and territorial integrity.
H.E president Farmajo reiterated that Somalia respects “one China Policy “whilst, On the other hand denounced Taiwan’s violation of sovereignty and territorial integrity of Somalia.
The Chinese Ambassador, on his part, reaffirmed the Chinese government’s commitment to respect sovereignty and unity of Somalia.
