Mogadishu, (SONNA) — The Speaker of the Parliament of the North Eastern State of Somalia, Dr. Aadan Abdullahi, together with a delegation, arrived in Mogadishu on Sunday.
Dr. Aadan and his delegation were received at Aden Adde International Airport by members of both Houses of the Federal Parliament.
Speaking to the media, the Speaker thanked the Federal Government for the warm welcome, noting that the North Eastern State is a newly established federal member state formed through the will of its people.
This marks Dr. Aadan Abdullahi’s first official visit to Mogadishu since his election as Speaker on August 23, 2025.
