Jowhar, (SONNA) — The Ministry of Planning, Investment and Economic Development of the Federal Government of Somalia and Hirshabelle Planning Ministry kicked off a 3-day consultation in Jowhar to align the National Transformation Plan (NTP2025_2029) with state priorities.
Led by Director General Abdullahi Mohamed, the meeting aimed to validate local priorities and develop strategies for cohesive national and state development.
Participants from ministries, civil society, and the private sector proposed practical actions, roles, timelines, and indicators, demonstrating strong commitment to ownership and coordination. Similar consultations are planned across other FMS.
