Mogadishu, (SONNA) — The Minister of Family and Human Rights of the Federal of Somalia, Amb. Khadiija Mohamed Al-Makhzoumi, today welcomed the Ambassador of Yemen to Somalia, H.E. Fadel Ali Ahmed Al-Khanak, during an official visit to her office in Mogadishu.
The meeting focused on enhancing bilateral cooperation between Somalia and Yemen, particularly in areas related to family welfare, social development, and the protection of human rights. Both sides underscored the importance of sustained collaboration to improve services supporting women, children, and vulnerable communities.
Minister Khadiija thanked Ambassador Fadel for his visit and reaffirmed the Federal Government of Somalia’s commitment to strengthening international partnerships that advance the protection and promotion of human rights.
