Mogadishu, SONNA – The Vice President of Galmudug, Mr. Ali Dahir Eid, recently convened with the Saudi Ambassador to Somalia, Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Mawlid, during his business visit to Mogadishu.
The high-level meeting focused on enhancing bilateral cooperation, with a particular emphasis on crucial sectors such as education, livestock export, and water development. Vice President Eid expressed profound gratitude to Ambassador Al-Mawlid for the invaluable contributions and ongoing projects spearheaded by the King Salman Foundation across Somalia, notably in the Galmudug region.
Key initiatives highlighted include critical water support systems, comprehensive drought relief efforts, and the construction and maintenance of places of worship, all aimed at bolstering the region’s resilience and development.
This meeting is a proof of the strengthening ties between Somalia and Saudi Arabia, paving the way for continued collaboration and mutual growth.
