Mogadishu, (SONNA) — The Ministry of Environment and Climate Change held a high-level ceremony at the Office of the Prime Minister to present Somalia’s key achievements from COP30 in Brazil. The event was attended by the Prime Minister, Ministers, senior officials, and partners.
Somalia highlighted major milestones, including being the first in East Africa to submit its updated NDC, advancing the NAP, and strengthening access to climate finance. PM Hamza Abdi Barre praised the Ministry’s leadership and Somalia’s strong voice at COP30.
