Mogadishu, (SONNA) — The National Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission has launched a training program for poll workers who will take part in upcoming elections in Wanlaweyn district of Lower Shabelle region.
The Commission is also conducting similar training sessions in Xudur district in the Bakool region, where electoral staff are being prepared to support the smooth implementation of the voting process.
The training equips election personnel with key skills, including voter registration procedures, management of polling stations, vote counting processes, and safeguarding the transparency and integrity of elections.
Meanwhile, the Commission has previously announced that a series of coordinated elections will soon begin across the Federal Member States of South West, Hirshabelle, Galmudug, and Jubbaland.
