Mogadishu (SONNA) — The Deputy Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E. Salah Ahmed Jama, on Tuesday officiated the handover ceremony between the newly appointed Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism, H.E. Abdifatah Qasim Mohamud, and the outgoing minister, H.E. Daud Aweis Jama.
The Deputy Prime Minister urged the new minister to uphold transparency and efficiency in carrying out his responsibilities, while wishing him success in his new role. He also commended the outgoing minister for the work accomplished during his tenure at the ministry.
The Deputy PM noted that the Ministry of Information is among the key institutions supporting the work of the government and expressed appreciation to the ministry’s staff for their important contribution to national service.
