Defense Minister attends military graduation in Doha

Doha, (SONNA) – The Minister of Defense of the Federal Government of Somalia, Abdulkadir Mohamed Nur, and his delegation have arrived in Doha, Qatar, to participate in a graduation ceremony for 17 Somali cadets who have completed various military training programs. These cadets are set to join the ranks of the Somali National Army (SNA).

During the ceremony, Minister Abdulkadir Mohamed Nur expressed his gratitude to the Qatari government for providing military training to the Somali youth. He congratulated the graduates on their achievement and commended their dedication throughout the training period.

The Defense Minister emphasized that the newly trained officers would strengthen the Somali National Army’s capacity, playing a crucial role in the ongoing efforts to liberate and defend Somalia. He highlighted the importance of these graduates in contributing to the country’s security and stability.
