Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The Minister of Defence of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E Abdikadir Mohamed Nur met with the Special Representative of the UN Secretary General, Catriona Laing and UNICEF’s Wafaa Elfadil Saeed Abdelatef.
The meeting focused on preventing violence against children in Somalia, particularly conscription and abuse.
The UN praised Somalia’s commitment to protecting children’s rights. The commitment of the FGS to child well-being continues to be a priority.
