Kisumu, (SONNA) — The Ambassador of the Federal Government of Somalia to the Republic of Kenya, H.E. Jabril Ibrahim Abdulle, expressed immense pride following his recent visit and engagement with the Somali community in Kisumu. He described the community as a vibrant and integral part of the city’s rich history, noting their significant contributions to Kisumu’s commerce and cultural diversity.
From entrepreneurship to fostering social cohesion, Ambassador Abdulle highlighted the Somali community’s positive impact as a reflection of the strength found in diversity. He reaffirmed the Somali Embassy’s continued collaboration with local authorities to ensure the community receives the support it needs to thrive.
The Ambassador also extended his sincere appreciation to both the local and County Government of Kisumu for their ongoing support of the Somali community’s growth, as well as for their gracious reception and warm hospitality.
