Mogadishu, Somalia – November 21, 2024 – The newly appointed Somali Ambassador to Tanzania, Ilyas Ali Hassan, officially presented his credentials to the Director of National Protocol at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Tanzania, Ambassador Yusuph Mndolwa.
During the cordial meeting, the Ambassador expressed his gratitude for the warm welcome and highlighted the long-standing relationship between Somalia and Tanzania. Both parties engaged in discussions aimed at further strengthening the traditional ties and enhancing cooperation between the two nations.
Ambassador Ilyas Ali Hassan emphasized his commitment to fortifying the historical bonds and working closely with the Somali community in Tanzania to foster mutual benefits. He reiterated his dedication to promoting collaborative efforts that will contribute to the prosperity and development of both countries.
